There are other useful videos on the channel as well, but those are the ones we recommend to watch before the class to familiarize yourself with test kit, assembly layouts, test procedures, etc. The diagnostics can seem complicated at first, but often they seem simple after a few days in the class. We recommend to be familiar with the basics before the course to maximize the learning experience.
This course is the Maine version of Kruger Training Academy's New England Region Backflow Tester Program and is done concurrently with other programs. The goal is to have 6 different programs meeting all 6 states' requirements, but have the curriculum integrated in such a way that the core materials are the same, but with an overview of the 6 total requirements and a breakdown on the next steps to become registered with the entities required. Often testers are only seeking certification in one or two states in the region, but sometimes they are seeking certification for many or all of them. The New England Region Backflow Tester Program is not valid in New York or other states, only in New England, if seeking certification in other states or regions, check out our main page www.krugerstraining.academy and pick whatever states you are interested in.
